It already feels that the trip to Hokkaido, Japan was ages ago. Actually I just got 8 weeks ago back from Japan. Still working on the development of the pictures. The travel report is still on my to do list. Luckily I took quite a few notes each evening.

A location, I feel in love with was on day 4 on our way to the hotel in Abashiri-shi a location next to the road at Lake Notoro. During the trip we had about 3 days we spent shooting in a snow blizzard. Luckily it was not too bad that late afternoon, but the snowfall basically put a blanket across the background. I did not convert the pictures to B&W as with the snowfall all the colors were really very delicate.  Some feedback I got that these pictures are really sad, reminding a good colleague of mine of death, sadness. For me it is peace and quiet.
